OUT OF THE KITCHEN AT CRAFTSBURY

This is an off week for the Thursday’s Bakery, as I am in Craftsbury, Vermont, doing a mini-volume training block with the Craftsbury Green Team. The other SMS T2 ladies (except for Annie Pokorny) are in Alaska through Monday, so we took the opportunity to experience Coach Patrick’s old stomping grounds. A major perk of Craftsbury is eating the delicious food the chefs cook. All Craftsbury food is locally sourced, and everything is delicious. We have fresh eggs and freshly made bread every morning, an amazing salad bar complimented with a hot entree for lunch (pizza Wednesday and black bean burgers today!), and then an equally amazing dinner (last night was apple curry pork … and I’m anxiously awaiting tonight’s menu). Additionally, both lunch and dinner come with dessert. So I’ll be back at Thursday’s Bakery next week, but for now I’ll leave you with a before and after shot of me giving rowing a try.
